my favorite furniture designer that has designed a pair of shoes is marc newson with the Zvezdochkas...i'm still looking for a pair in my size.

I can't justify owning more than 2 pairs at a time. I have a minimalist interior, that size of a collection would just be clutter.

I have to say that those are the ugliest shoes that I have ever seen in my life. Subtle they are not.
If i wear sneakers I prefer them to be canvas and devoid of ridiculous sci-fi decoration.

Other areas of design
I am interested in include bikes. We have recently moved to Europe from the US, bought bikes and left behind our cars. This is mine.

Biking is one of my great loves
For a ten year period (until a year or so ago, when my obsession kinda waned) I rode twenty miles each morning, 5-6 days a week, 11 months a year, rain or shine.
Here's my hog-- Specialized Stumpjumper. (Helps me jump Manhattan's myriad stumps!)

but more just for the look rather than any 'limited' edition value. I'm just thankful there are so many other options out there than dirty white hightops.

Skater shoes
I use to collect Vans sneakers (an addiction from my BF), I was a sucker for anything called "special edition". Unfortunately, several years ago I decided I'd change my style and gave up my shoes.
I sold all of them dirt cheap, now I'd wish I hadn't hopefully some kid enjoyed them as much as I did. I brokedown and purchased a pair not to long ago, but that is it and I never took pictures of my shoes. Now if you can get my BF get rid of some of his skateboards, ha fat chance. We're in our 30's and still skate, oh and we DO listen to Miles Davis. Smile.
