I never see them on the secondary market. Were they not mass-produced?

the coffee table was kept in production for Herman Miller for the Home
I'm thinking the dining tables were not designed by Eames

My question came from seeing the attached photo which shows a dining height la fonda base. It would be a shame if they did not keep them in production.

I could easily be wrong, but I don't think those "La Fonda" tables were ever produced by Herman Miller (although they might have been produced by Vitra).
Photos I've seen of the restaurant circa 1961 show chairs with the well-known quad parallel shafts merging into a four-star base, but they don't show any tables with that characteristic. Instead, the tables have just one large-diameter shaft and a circular base.

I read once that the la fonda table is designed by Alexander Girard for Vitra.
Vitra did produced them. Here in the Netherlands they are occasionally offered sometimes.
