I have the opportunity to buy one of 2 sets.
The first Set has been professionally Restored to look like new. Chairs have Knoll tags and table is correctly stamped and has no visible screws etc.
Second set is in fair vintage shape. Penty of chips and nicks and yellowing paint. Knoll tagged on the chair and again staped correctly on the table. Looks like 1957 based on the stamp.
Thoughts on the value of each would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

There's a lot of factors
but I wouldn't want either if one was restored, and the other is damaged and yellowed. I'd rather have nm original. You'll get a better deal if you buy as a set as opposed to single pieces. I'd think $500-$1,000 would be a good deal, but the low end would probably never happen if you're shopping a retail market, and the seller knows what he has. $1,500 to $2,000 would be about average asking prices from what I see. Mint original would probably be higher. If it were in a high end shop it might be $5,000. Probably depends on how hungry the seller is. Junk, and beaten, I wouldn't even bother...
