I just bought four of these plastic box drawer units for my girlfriend to keep her art supplies in, while at an estate sale. Anyways, I seem to remember coming across them in a thread here and was curious if someone could tell me what they are. They sure are sturdy.
Sorry for the bad photo, they are in the basement at the moment until I clean them up (one of them smells a little funky).

Those are "Palaset" cubes, kind of a modular shelving system designed by Ristomatti Ratia in 1971 (a son of Marimekko's co-founder Armi Ratia btw), manufactured by Treston (Finland); very popular at the time in these parts...different color options & models were available, discontinued in the late 70's I believe...
