What is this Paul McCobb style table?  

I have this table which came from a house with a Paul McCobb white and black louvred bereau. Not sure if it is actually Paul McCobb... and not sure exactly what this piece is. This table is too tall to be an end table or coffee table. There are two sets of legs to make it taller (cocktail table height) or shorter (more like coffee table height). There is a lid that opens to reveal a storage cabinet. Anyone have any idea of what this thing is or what the value is on such a piece? This one is in very good condition.
