I found this table, brought it home, placed it in front of our couch and my wife said "No mi gusta" personal translation "sell it."

So I have decided to remove it from our house and in the process a question arose. What is brutalism and why was it popular? As a presented I find this piece to be quite interesting. However, how would this piece be used in a residential setting?

Let us began this talk of brutalism? If you are so inclined to do so...... In solidarity

After reading
the former post I have come to realize that Brutalism takes on various forms. This piece seems to have a feeling that is primitive as well as something which could be imagined as representing the future whereby we revisit the beauty which can be found in primal themes of design. Thank you for the direction.
