It's very rare that someone beats me to harsh critiques. For some reason I seem to have a lot of patience on this site. I hope I am not getting soft in my old age. Or perhaps I am a little more understanding of the recent influx of Chinese/English forum posts given the fact that I lived in Taiwan for 5 years and know how challenging the language barrier can be. So much gets lost in translation and it can be very awkward. I am well aware that there are many members whose native language is not English. A lot of this broken English is better than my best Chinese. That said, even having lived in a Mandarin speaking country and absorbing some of the language and cultural gaps, I am missing the point of the bulk of these posts.
