Came across these chairs online - It appears that they are well made and crafted. I am contemplating of getting them. Anyone has seen these or have any clue of their origin and designer?
They are any Selig product...
They aren't any Selig product I've seen before and they seem too suggestive of Selig's Z chair.
Thank You leif ericson
Selig chair is much too angular than this one - this has very smooth curvature as though it is hand crafted. Thanks for your lead - hopefully someone else has seen this chair.
Not sure of the designer
But they will probably be stamped "made in Italy". Pretty sure I have seen them before and they had that stamp. Likely on the undersurface. Not burned in. Was an ink stamp.
Thank You jdip
Good lead! If it is made in Italy , one would assume an Italian designer - These are online with no specification...!
Finally
Finally, I bought the chair and took some pics myself of it. There are no tags or burnt mark of the manufacturer let alone the designer. It is teak and well made and crafted as I suspected to be. Maybe, by seeing it without cushions someone may recognize its history.
