If that's true, I wonder why Herman Miller and Knoll didn't sue the pants off Burke. Seems like they a career out of knocking of current furniture designs right out from under the better known companies.
They were worst than the current crop of Chinese counterfit knockoffians.

saarine knock off chair with that big feet on the base looks like crap, and there sarrine tulip table used cheap paint that always flakes although it did look fairly decent .
The only thing that they did do right was the the little tulip side table a good knock off for the day and they used a lamanant that bolted on instead of screwed amazing they lasted as long as they did To my knowledge the only company they knocked off was knoll and Herman
