Not sure that it is Wegner. It is similar to the GE-236 sofa designed by Wegner and produced by Getama. But the legs and seat cushions are quite a bit different. Usually any Wegner/Getama pieces are stamped "Getama Gedsted Denmark, Design Hans J Wegner. You may want to ask the seller if there are any markings on the sofa. Hope this helps.

Thanks. Yes, the overall shape is similar to the GE236, which is a sofa I have also been considering, although as you noted it is quite different in its details. The long tapered dowel legs on this sofa remind me a lot of many of the pieces Wegner did for A.P. Stolen. I could not see any markings underneath, but was not able to get that good of a look. The next time I go back, I will ask more questions about it, but I also would not mind independently verifying what it is, as it would represent an expensive purchase for me.

I have the steel leg version...
I have a similar Wegner sofa, steel leg version model 34/3 (below). I have seen these with wooden legs although would like to see more images before saying if it is right or not. I can't recall if I have seen one with the style of leg in your pic, there is of course the squarer leg GE-236 as mentioned above which is quite different..

Thanks. I have always liked the profile of the sofa you have, with the relatively thin frame section under the seat cushions, and how this allows for a much longer leg than a typical sofa has. I will have to ask the seller where the attribution comes from the next time I visit.
