Two different
Wegner chairs, both called Sawbuck ? Doesn't seem right . . . although the similarities are evident. One is a lounge chair, the other a side or dining chair. Sort of Wegner's DCW/LCW ?

They are
Both right on the money. 1952 first versions were in all wood but quickly got upholstered seat.
Ch29 and ch28 refer to the dining chair and the armchair version of the savbuk stol.
Translate it roughly from danish you get saw horse.
Great chairs and ones which retail for £3000 - £3600 for a set.
They are being remade now by carl hansen so it put a bit of a lid on the price.
