Here's an example of what I wrote about in a recent post: a Wegner chair with no marking (not sure what the close-up of the KM is supposed to mean):
Is chair authentic or fake? I haven't seen an authentic CH-22 in person so have no references.
?
First, you should keep your posts together on one thread.
It isn't exactly clear what you are asking and why.
CH-22 or Ch-33 ?
Some random obsession?
Are you looking to purchase a chair and time is running out on an
auction but you need authentication?
(not an easy chair to copy and the patina seems correct for the age.
Also, the 22 may not have an easy spot for the branding. Under the
cording? I would contact Carl Hansen )
Here is the 22 you referenced
And a link to a direct contact for Carl Hansen

Rockland: I guess I thought they were two separate questions but in some way related and therefore chose to post two separate threads. One is a general question (which alas has had no responses yet), the other a specific question - but the latter could be seen to exemplify the former. Very sorry if I have made the wrong call and am upsetting forum rules.
I do wonder specifically about the CH-22 so thanks to Rockland and Pegboard Modern for the information provided. Oops, noticed that I had mistakenly written CH-33 as well as CH-22 - I realise this must have been confusing and apologize.
