We happened received this Adrian Pearsall suite of sorts. Additionally, at a recent estate sale I picked up these Eames shell minatures as well as the mold and some contract base proofs from an old employee of Herman Miller who built the models.
Interesting?

wow some cool little things there, always nice to see these prototypes and models, good find!
Like Killian I'm not really an Eames enthusiast, the underside of the lcm and dcm are horrible and the inevitable shockmount failure and limited warranty on the 670 is just really poor but the cast aluminium work is pretty damn fine, inspired me to get the gasket cleaner out next weekend and clean mine up.
Why would
there be any others at all ? More to the point, what were those models used for ?
Is the upholstery pattern indicated on them one that was used in production ? Were these models used in design decision-making, sales, or some for some other function ? What appear to be the materials used in the models and the molds ?
I understand
that the information given the buyer is that these were the property of a former Herman Miller employee -- and accepting that would be understandable -- but some actual provenance would be helpful, wouldn't it ? Couldn't a "fan" of any sort have made these, as well ?
Wishful thinking is nice, but historic and monetary value can't be established upon that, can it ?
Good evening
I will work on identifying the material etc. Additionally, provenance is in the process of being properly documented through the certification process that is necessary for items of this nature.
As more information is received I will detail that for the community.
Peace be with you
