Not the OP's Chair
But Mark or anyone,
Can a maker be identified with just this picture? Terrible photo, I know. Chair is in storage for some time. It's dark there so had to use a flash. I never thought it was Knoll but don't know for sure who made it.

We also just bought a Wassily.
It has no signatures, but you can still see parts of the glue from a sticker at the tube at the back and under the leatherseat.
The first owner told me, that he thinks, he had bought it around 1970.
Is it correct, that it than could be a Knoll ,where there was a Gavina sticker at the tube, and a Knoll sticker under the seat? No numbers or Breuer signature anywhere.
The hex bolts are more black at my chair, not so silver.
The tube at the bottom, where it is put together has two hex bolt skrews in it.
I don't find the Wassily uncomfortable.
Nowhere near as uncomfortable as the Barcelona, anyway.
What's interesting to me about the Wassilys is that no one (Mark excepted, I guess) keeps them. I tried unsuccessfully in five different houses to find a good place for my chairs before finally just giving them away, and I've heard similar stories from a surprisingly large number of other people.
