I am replacing the leather straps on my Wassily chair. Any tips on getting the back straps around the corners into position. Getting the old ones off was a major chore.

I can't really help you...
I can't really help you there but what I want to do is get one of the frames and use really thick transparent vinyl for the straps/seat/back.

Nice idea. I'm trying to think of other pieces that I'd want to give the "transparent treatment" to. . .

how about inflatable...
how about inflatable cushions in a le corb grand confort frame?
The trouble with this sort of idea is it looks interesting on first inspection and is all very exciting but fundamentally shallow.
🙂 But I'll still do the Wassily if I get the chance.

Speaking of transparent
I have a pair of Eames Eiffel Shell chairs in a transparent plexi.I think thesde were made in Italy.(Possibly Kartell?)They never fail to draw favorable comments when I entertain.
