Hi bshop.
I'm pretty sure that I arrived from Hell. Now sorry to be critical of your table, but like most aficionados of Warren Platner..it's tough to feel the love for such a strange side table re-invention/blatant plagiarism...etc. One of the most beautiful features on the Platner side table is in the elegant way in which the beveled glass top rests perfectly upon the sheaths of welded steel rod (which are perfectly cropped to accommodate the glass). But I'm usually wrong.
Carry on,
Aunt Mark

ps
If you're asking if this is a Knoll Warren Platner table, the simply answer would be no. This would be a labor intensive table to knock-off I would think (many welds...and your table has uneven rod placement). Maybe the glowing ball in the cage will take your eye away from any of the imperfections. Please don't be insulted by my comments. I used to date __________'s mother.
Good Morning all!
Aunt Mark
