damned if I can think of any names at the moment. There are some really nice hand printed mod-ish botanicals that I've seen. 60's-ish geometrics seem popular too. I remember the name 'wallbands'

Damn, I know that, in the past year, I saw something about a company making retro-hip wallpaper paterns... Maybe in Metropolis... maybe even in Wallpaper Magazine, of all places. I know it was in a print publication, maybe I.D.? There is a font company called Veer, whose catalogs always look like great retro wallpaper. I'll see if I can come up with something for you. How much googling have you done on the matter?

If you living in Europe you could try to get your hands on some Eijffinger Wallpaper. They do have some nice retro wallpaper designs. And some nice wallpaper designs made by Ulf Moritz(only for sale in the Netherlands)
Allthough it's not exactly retro:
