I found this today at Recycle Reuse in A2. Thought it to look about the size of my Royal Cado wall unit, but it's not. It looks like Rosewood on top, but different on the front and sides. There are 4 holes on each side of the box that look to be where it could be mounted to something. The only markings are on the magnetic stop...Vavec-Milano, Made in Italy. I figured it worth the $15 to see if I could use it in some way if it didn't fit the Cado.
Dimensions: 27 3/4"(w)x16"(t)x14 3/4"(d)
Anyone have any clues?

The interior section looks...
The interior section looks to be missing a shelf and there are some grooves which look like there were some sub-dividers below that shelf. The back of the cabinet looks to be some sort of luan-like thin plywood. It appears to be vaneered as evidence from chips at the edges. Someone cut holes in the back for electrical cords I presume.
LP Storage.
Yup, that looks like a section from the Yugoslavian Units.
This particular section was for vinyl record storage (the missing dividers and shelf you mentioned).
I had a few extra sections like this left over some time ago and I ended up slapping some tapered legs onto them and sold them as storage units.
Thanks for identifying it...
Thanks for identifying it for me. Once I established it wouldn't fit the Cado I decided it could use some legs. I was just looking at some Waddell legs. There's some other work I need to do to it as well. The hinges need to be mounted again as it looks as if a previous owner tried to, but did a shabby job of it, so the left door feels as if it binds at the hinge. It looks as if it got stained half-assed style with some runs in the interior of the cabinet. There are also some exposed particle board edges that need new veneer. This is definitely a fixer upper.
