I have recently moved into a house and have inherited a beautiful wooden wall system with 5 x back panels, 7 x open shelves, 2 x cabinets and 1 x writing cabinet. It uses wooden pegs to affix units to the back panels.

Having done a bit of research and read many other threads on this site, I believe this unit to be a Paol Cadovius (System CADO).

Attached are photos.
Comes with "MADE IN DENMARK" on reverse of shelves.

Can anyone here please help identify (is this CADO?) and attribute an approx value?
Plus any recommendations on where best to sell and preserve such a wonderful item? Unfortunately we don't have space to keep this.

Many thanks
Hannah

I don't know if it's Cado or not but that seems like something you should be able to confirm by doing a Google image search. There are hundreds of Cado units online.
As for value, the forum rules pop up whenever one posts a new thread:
"Requests to identify objects are welcome as long as the object is believed to be modern, post-modern or contemporary (no antiques). You may ask for help identifying an object’s designer, producer, period, style, material etc. – but not its commercial value. This forum is not a free valuation service."
Fortunately, it's very easy to look at "sold" listings on ebay (not just ended auctions) to see what these sell for. That is a good market indicator. You may need to track the sales over a few weeks or months to get the most accurate average. If you want a quicker answer, you can always contact a dealer in your area, or just toss it up on Craigslist and see what happens. Maybe you'll start a bidding war, who knows?

Definitely System Cado. The back panel in teak is quite rare, usually one only sees it in rosewood. As for price, anywhere from $1000 to $1500 per bay/column would be doable for what pieces that look to be in excellent condition. If you go to Design Within Reach, they are selling royal cado units in walnut with limited shelving/cabinets for more than $1500 per bay, which I deem quite outrageous.
