here is a link to a sale on ebay claiming to be one of the most rare Barcelona chairs. The berlin workshop. Only a couple known to exist.
The thing is:
This one looks chromed: the original ones weren't so that is a big big warning.
Also, look at the price: why does this guy not offer it for auction at a proper place?... exactly..
What is your opinion!

Hi
The original ones in the early 1930s were chromed, also the later ones in the 1950s, this one is manufactured by Stiegler/Germany in 1958.

The earliest versions were made from welding low-grade steel plates in a flat finish ? not chromed as they are today

Because if it is real. it is worth far more than what he is asking. They are extremely rare and I am just wondering if one should be able to believe what the seller is saying.I thought this was an interesting object as I thought the the forum was open for discussion, feedback and the like not telling me off to ask my questions elsewhere

With the one you could learn more, in all aspects, it's with the owner.
ps: Why is cheap? 1) It,s an auction 2) The Price of anything is the Price somebody is willing to pay. 3) If it,s cheap, why don't you buy it? 4) If it's cheap, and you are not going to buy it, you are not the only one thinkig the same.
