Vladimir Kagan? Table

Hello Everyone, Can anyone help me to ID this table? Looks like Kagan-esque to me. It is extremely well made, the top feels cold and smooth like white glass. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

construction. The top comes off, and the base folds ?

YES!
Top comes off with screws and the base appears to fold up. I found the exact table that sold at an auction and was sold as Kagan. I really don't think its Kagan though. Below is a link for that auction result.
