Im currently writting a short article for a blog about Vitra furniture which has been featured in film and tv. I've been hunting around and I have a few examples mainly the eames lounge chair(mad men, scrubs, tron, gossip girl ect).
I was wondering if you guys had any ideas on vitra furniture used in cinema?

cant see why you wouldnt see Vitra furniture in american film and TV, sure eames, nelson and noguchi pieces would more than likely be herman miller examples but vitra offer a whole host of other pieces which are available in the US
I have been watching How To Make it in America recently, there was a vitra brochure right in shot (must have been product placement it was so prominent) perhaps they have some furniture to? its on every thursday so I'll keep a look out 🙂

Hi,
Thanks guys.
I got a bit confused with the mad men typo really. I have a two lists a vitra and a more general one. The Herman miller sofa and the time life executive chair are from mad men.
So far all my examples on the list I've been making are for the eames lounge chair but I would like to expand it a bit more. I seem to be able to find only American TV.
I got the idea for the article when watcing the uk version of the apprentice as the coffee table used in the waiting area appears to be the noguchi coffee table.
So if you guys have any thoughts either Uk/American TV or Film I would be very grateful.
Re: Vitra in cinema
I distinctly remember in Indecent Proposal, Woody Harrelson played a struggling architect (married to Demi Moore), who despite his poverty had managed to acquire a Shiro Kuramata chest of drawers (Cappellini) and a Frank Gehry Little Beaver cardboard chair (Vitra).
At this point I'd consider making a joke about having seen Demi Moore's Little Beaver, but as this is a family forum, I'll refrain from doing so.
.
I've always liked the Bobbie Fisher story.
