Hi
With the goal of completing my living room with a lounge chair, I was able to tie down my selection to two design classics:
- Vitra - Lounge Eames (white version)
- Cassina - LC2 (white version)
I just love both of them... But due to the fact that I only have an apartment, it won't be possible to buy them both.
I know it's always a very personal choice, but maybe someone can give some pro's and contra's of each chair (leather quality, general quality of chair, sit comfort, ...)?
Thanks in advance!
Niels T.
It depends
on what you want. A low chair that pivets around is much different can of beqans than a low stationary chair. I prefer the latter, myself, but you'll have to decide for yourself.
Either would be a superb choice, although the Eames Lounge chair was designed to use with its ottoman. I believe due to the fragile armrests, you might need an ottoman to sit comfortably for a extended period of time.
Should I eat an apple or an orange.
You already received the answer, they are two different chairs. I had the Eames chair and found the scale to be too large for my room. I "gave" the chair to my sister and bought the Poul Kjærholm, PK20 leather and chrome steel chair for Fritz Hansen.
