liked these Bulova Spaceviews too. The exposed skeleton has always intrigued me.

The Accutrons are wonderful, but pity the man who has one needing repair. Same is true for the LEDs, I suppose. Any Accutron I aquire that is running, is immediately sold lest some scarce part fail in it.

Too many problems can arise from a single problem too once you try to get into one. Lotta shit to go bad quick, and you need a lot of patience, steady hands, a good memory, and a good eye to get deep into one successfully. In the long run, it's easier for me to steer clear of any that are as-is might work kinda deals, unless cheap enough to use the band, casing, clasp etc. for parts.
The led's are almost a lost cause if they get corroded inside. The batteries just loved leaking all over that pretty conductive little motherboard. It eats the metal way to nothing, all green and brittle. Like an old tv remote with AA's stuck in for 35 years. You pull one out, and here comes the terminal with it.
