Something humorous that an architect friend emailed me today. Don't think I have seen the link posted here, so hopefully it is something new.
For those
weirdos more interested in architecture than in its amusing inhabitants (?), the very first photo shows a postwar house in Armonk, NY, built by a Skidmore architect (still working, elsewhere, at 91) for his own use. The story -- in the current Dwell -- depicts the energetic and loving rescue and revival of the building by its new owners, a pair of fellows who knew what they wanted -- and relocated from the West Coast when they found it.
