I have a small desk #184. It has two larger bottom drawers with 2 sliding doors on to. It also has a small door with an eagle embossed/painted on the front. There is an extra piece that I believe is a fold-out desk since there are two pull out stabilizers on either side of the drawers. I am looking for the hardware to reattached the fold-out writing desk. Any suggestions?

Suggestion.
Ask Uncle Andy what happened to the hardware.
Best,
Aunt Mark

Or Ted and Alice. Seriously, check the hardware store. It sounds like a common henge. Take a photo of the henge recesses and the measurements,

woodworkers supply
check online sources like this. I had a Heywood Wakefield piece that had a fold down desk and was able to replace the hardware with hinges that were exactly like was originally installed by Heywood Wakefield in the 1950's.
