I really like these chairs...
I know that these are Umbo Chairs edited by Directional (you can see the umbo shelvings in the picture...). We often hear that the designer of these shelvings and chairs is Joe Colombo...
I just bought 4 Umbo chairs so...could somebody confirm this information ? It seems very difficult to find some information about it...

Kay Leroy Ruggles is the designer of umbo furniture. He is in his 80's now and designs other things. I know this because I'm his grandson. Not only is his house full of Umbo decor, shelves, tables, chairs, etc, but when I worked for him, the umbo line was in his professional portfolio. His shop has Photographs on occasional Umbo in places like Snowbird, Utah. let me knnow if you want more information.
