These two teak sideboards were purchased as part of a dining set - along with a round teak table with 2 leaves, 6 chairs (identified as H.W. Klein chairs by some of you), 2 small stools marked Arne Basse.

I cannot find any markings at all on the smaller piece. It has rosewood inset door pulls, glass doors on the upper portion, and is finished on all sides. The tiny holes that run the entire height of the side "poles" are puzzling to me, making me wonder if it was originally part of a larger unit - wall or shelving unit, maybe?

The large sideboard is also teak, solid teak, with some veneer over ply & compressed wood. The top portion has tambour doors on either side with glass doors in the center. The bottom portion has four free-sliding doors with shelving and drawers. The only marking on this piece is a number on the back -

Wondering if anyone can help with identifying the designers / makers of these pieces. Thanks so much!

nice buy!
I'm thinking the same considering the holes: probably part of a system.
I like the finish and quality of the wood but the configuration seems a bit to heavy for me (the proportions).
No ideas on maker or designer.
Good luck with them!

thanks for the response! i'm still searching to figure out who made these. the gentleman from whom i got the set had purchased them from a friend who was the original owner, and so had no history as to how or when the set was purchased or put together. he lived in a single-wide trailer, and the set was on his glassed-in porch.
