Just wondering the best way to go about it.Sunburst Walnut model with minute hand.To unplug it is Hell,as the credenza is right up agasinst the plug. Will I do harm by simply reversing the arms while its running?

How about turning off the breaker switch at the main electrical box for that outlet for one hour. I am assuming you are adjusting for the return to standard time. Set an alarm clock elsewhere in the house for an hour and when it goes off, turn the breaker back on.

I have an electric ball and a spike which I have simply turned back for many years. Never had a problem and they both still run right as rain
