Hello All
My father has just moved to Tucson and I will be visiting him over the Thanksgiving Holidays. I am writing to see if any of you have suggestions on where I can find MCM shops, homes and commercial buildings. I know there are quite a few in Phoenix which i plan to visit but I have not been able to find out much information about Tucson is regards to modern architecture and MCM oriented stores. Any suggestions for Tucson or Phoenix would be appreciated.

There's an MCM store
on Camelback Road, about 2 blocks east of Central on the S side of Camelback. The name escapes me right now, but it's one of those "high brow" stores that runs like a gallery and all potential customers are treated as if they might possibly break something.

in tucson
you can visit copper country antiques (5055 East Speedway Boulevard) as they have a few MCM dealers (it's an antiques mall) and social science (43 S 6th Ave, right downtown) a small shop.

Red
The shop Barry is referring to is "Red."
Check out modernphoenix.net
There is a wealth of info. on modern phx homes and a link to Tucson as well. Phx. has some modern neighborhoods. I dont know much about Tucson, but I would imagine there are some as well.
