I went ahead and purchased...
I went ahead and purchased the chair & ottoman with the side table yesterday. I found a pair of the side tables that sold at a wright auction in 2002 this morning. The woman I purchased from said she had inherited a pair of the chairs, ottoman, matching settee, and a pair of the side tables. She said her ex husband gave away the settee and her son left one of the chairs outside forever and it rotted!!

I hate it myself, when...
I hate it myself, when people talk about things on here that they know nothing about, so since I can't even remember where I got the info from, I should of course not be too sure... I've been looking through my archive but can't find the source of this info anywhere.
I wouldn't trust any auctioneer, dealer, or "giants of MCM" in the world, for reference. Items often gets incorrectly attributed. Show me a catalog page, a magazine, book, etc from the period, which ID's the set as Glenn and I will gladly say that you are right
That said, the pieces doesn't look much like anything Glenn did, while it has more in common with some of what Brown Saltman made at the time; such as Keal's designs for Brown-Saltman/Pacifica. But it could also be by someone else entirely of course...
man, are you LOST.
pity.
it's Glenn.
Brown Saltman? that's the best you got?
you're drinking you're bath water.
you think you know more about mcm than than the guys on that list?
you're a legend in you're own mind, a delusion of your own grandeur.
btw, let's see or hear about the epic collection you've amassed, or the books you've written, or the museums that consult you on a regular basis?
