What I have ..
So everyone knows ... I have about 200 B&W photos of "some" of TP's designs. We went through one drawer of pix, only one. There's another six, at least. All of this info will be on our website. As soon as I finish writing the bio I'll be submitting it here along with some photos. At this point I only know what I've been told over the past few months. I have mostly '50s and some '60s photos. We haven't even gotten into the '70s and '80s. So I can try and answer your questions or I can ask TP. He's having surgery tomorrow so he'll be out of commission for a bit. If you go to TonyPauldesigns.com and use the "asktony" link you can shoot off your questions, or you can do it here. The website is still being developed so there's nothing much there. This is an overwhelming task and I'm trying to do it in my spare time ... between working a full-time demanding job, taking care of my family and going to school the process will be slow, but it is moving forward. So .... ask away and maybe I can get you some answers! 🙂
tony paul and contemporaries
I recently "discovered" Tony Paul's iron furniture on his homepage, with much enthusiasm. I collect the early 1950/1960 furniture of an Australian designer [ who became an American citizen and an internationally famous sculptor] . His name is Clement Meadmore. You might like to see the furniture connection as both were working with iron . Google image will let you find his work

tony paul
Mr. Paul did all of the above and more. I have been fortunate enough to find lots of iron furniture by him, lamps, cairs, kitchen items, trays, wastecan, andmost recently, a book stand which very rare, and a tired book stand which is totally unheard of, extremely rare. I love the modernist desifn in his iron works,. I also like his more conventiional items, although they for me don't have the same jazzy, funky feel that the iron works do
Thinline Chairs Tony Paul
Hi, I recently acquired two epic thinline chairs. I've the armed through this thread they were designed by Tony Paul. They are so unique and amazing. They seem to be from the 60s. They are avocado green. I was considering reupholstering and painting them but I don't want to if they are valuable. How can I find out how much they are worth?
PS: how can I post pics?
