donsof
donsof, i really enjoyed looking through your little collection of photos of TP attributed stuff.
It seems to be hard work trying to determine who has done what in the field of 50's Wrought Iron pieces. It seems that there were a few with original ideas and many who just followed the trend.
Donsof, I would like to ask for your opinion and advice concerning a piece I'm considering buying and I wonder if it would be possible for you to get in touch with me on the following email?
alexgrejer(A)gmail.com (just change the (A)...)
Or is there a way to PM individual members of the forum?
Hi everyone
I'm back .. but just briefly .. the web site has stalled ... Gramps has be very diligently hounding me about it, but since I'm not a computer wiz, I have to rely on others to help ... so, e-mail me from the TP website and I will get back to you as soon as I get a response from gramps.
btw ... he is ok ... not doing the greatest ...
Good to hear Tony Paul is...
Good to hear Tony Paul is still doing ok. You got us worried there for a while...
I really wish I knew how to help you make a functional website, but like you I'm no computer-wiz .
Maybe a blog would be a good idea to begin with. There you could upload information and pictures, little by little, as you find the time...

Well, we haven't really...
Well, we haven't really found out who did it yet, have we? I'd still be interested to find out more about it. It has similarities with Grossman's work, but keep in mind that many designers used the ball feet at this time, and even Grossman did a lot of stuff without them.
The chair looks great in any case. Good Lines do you have a picture of yours?
That chair is too nice to keep in the basement...
I do not have pictures
However it is the same chair, albeit with arms sticking up off the sides on metal-rod stalks. I just moved into a new home ( actually over a year ago ) and it is buried in the corner of my basement among the other non-essentials. If you would really like to see it, I can excavate it and get a pic.
Hi all of you ...
It was really interesting to read al your messages about Tony Paul. Something also really interesting to be ale to discuss and exchange with a member of his family.
We have bought recently a stool designed by him and it was an opportunity for us to discover his work and the website dedicated to him !
Hope to find more piece of this designer !
