I just got these three Fibrella lounge chairs from Craigslist. The listing photo makes them look to be in much better shape than they really are.
My husband picked them up for me, so I didn't see how much work they actually needed until I got home from work.
It looks like they were painted with a very thick, very hard coat of beige paint, however it is cracked and chipping off. It looks like the two chairs are yellow and olive green, and the flat lounger is baby blue underneath all that paint. I would LOVE to get these back to their original colors, and was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to do that?
After a little research online, it looks like Citristrip is safe for fiberglass. Does anyone have any personal experience with this? Is it worth it to try to strip the paint and restore the fiberglass or should I content myself with repainting?
Thanks so much!
