Picked up a black leather Eames Time Life four star chair on casters from the 1970's at a country house sale. The owner worked for an advertising agency in London who held the account for Eames in London. Their entire office in London had been fitted out by Eames. The left arm pad on the chair needs close to complete restoration and there is a tear in the seat which also has three missing buttons. Any advice on how to clean the aluminium and how to treat the leather? So far I have just cleaned the whole thing with a damp cloth.
