I was at a thrift store Sunday, and I found and purchased a 3-tiered,or 3-ring,(35.5" diameter, and about 2-3"deep)Starburst comprised of 3 lengths of welded Brass or Bronze rods, about a 5 or 6 inch diameter opening in the center,(and something was originally there and is now missing),either a mirror or something.About 3 inches around the open center, there is a sort of woven rattan, very unusual. Also, the rods have flecks of Gold leaf on them to create an attractive shimmer.Very striking and intriguing. It looks like it took an incredible amount of hand work and skill to create this. Can anybody tell what this may be from my description? I have not yet thoroughly searched for a signature.

Close indeed!
The differing aspects are that on mine:The edges do not undulate, they are rounded with 3 layers of rods, secondly the center diameter is smallern and lastly, the natural woven fiber surrounds about 3" where the mirror is,or in this case, where it would have been.

I saw one simular as you described with the center mirror ready to fall out..this was also at a goodwill and I took the target sticker off the back to fool the next guy!

Bridgeport, CT
LOL-that's so nice of you! Looking at all the various types, the closest one I have seen offered is the one from Pottery Barn, but it has a 29" diameter, not 35" and it features some gold metal around the center instead of the rattan.Anyhow, for $30.00,I felt it was not a high risk purchase.

OMG-THAT IS SO AWESOME!!!
It WAS a Target piece after all,so that must've been you-LOL!!!Okay,case closed. From the Target Global Bazaar Collection.(MSRP-$89.00).Too funny.Ah well,I guess I won't need to hunt down a mirror for it.Not bad looking, but admittedly, the Pottery Barn or Crate & Barrel version is much sharper.

Well, I have to admit
I have never been in your town, however Goodwill is known for buying all the target overstock/return stuff and I did see one at another goodwill in another town.
When I spotted it I had to jump on top of a dresser to get it off the wall, then when I turned it over an saw the target tag, I thought Damm! target's knocking off Jere'...what the cr#@!!

I see---That explains the Target Tabletop Christmas Trees
I saw about 6 of them. They were 4.99 each, and I remember seeing them in target for 20-30.Still,not a bad Jere knockoff for about 1/100th what an original costs!
