love it
I love the floor to ceiling windows, open floor plan and floor. It looks like it flows nicely. It's hard to see the front exterior though. It looks like the stairs have a neat mcm banister. I dont think the pool is so dreadful. This home reminds me a lot of my 1950's home, which has walls of glass also, but is one story. It looks like walking distance to the beach? Might be a good investment if so.
Pretty much any home you buy, if you are like me, will require gutting the kitchen and baths anyway. I replaced all my windows in this home - about 170 linear feet of floor to ceiling glass, including 6 eight foot sliders, and a large 16 foot slider- very expensive but well worth it. The view might be a stickler, but that house has so much potential...
wow
I don't think a home exists that doesn't need some attention. None of us want/need the same details. Other than the view, seems like this has most of what you are looking for. I must say it is an attractive, open home. Not fussy, which I really appreciate. Too spare for my tastes, I am not that neat. Few are. Mark, I suspect, is.
Mark, my first
impressions from the pix were that it was a bit sterile. Did you get any of that vibe when you went through it?
I think it needs a little love and a little warmth. Also, I think you are going to miss your big water views. The price is good, though, for the size and the location.
You just need to put your Mark on it, ahem.
Mark
go save this Twitchell home over in Siesta Keys. Looks pretty sweet.

Thanks for
all the great photos and drawings of Rudolph's work -- and other goodies.
Mark should own a significant example of residential architecture in each state of the Union -- so that wherever he might find himself, there'll be a ready supply of liquor at any hour of the day or night. And think of the entertainment possibilities . . . !
Let the touring begin . . .
