Your local upholsterers
will have sample books for vinyl fabric, for starters. I've thumbed through a few of these and remember seeing colors that could pass for retro in the right setting.
I've reupholstered a few of these Thonet chairs and the vinyl was of a heavier weight, which is what is mostly available today.
I would start locally, looking at swatches in person. That way you can get the right feel and also this color in particular doesn't photograph or even scan too well. If you do shop online, be sure to get a sample first before ordering yardage.
