Hi I'm trying to find out more information about a pair of Thonet Cantilever Lounge Chairs I just found. I figured at $240 for the pair they can't be bad....I might fix them up a bit and sell them off. Thanks SD

Will you please stop...
Will you please stop spamming the forum with multiple posts. I am also very confused by your postings as both say you found chairs for $240...seems like spam postings but I could be wrong.
also your photo didn't work.
as for the saarinen grass hoppers why don't you get a different vehicle to transport them...renting a Uhaul for $20 is easier than disassembling/potentially devaluing something that could be quite valuable.

First time
Found out the chairs were not Grasshoppers but Thonet Cantilever Lounge Chairs. So not as high end as the Grasshoppers. But I guess at $240 for a pair not to bad. Just trying to find out more information about the chairs. Not much out there on them. Seems the link to the picture for some reason isn't working. Thanks Scott

I personally would pass on...
I personally would pass on them. There would not be enough potential value to make my investment of 240 plus labor cleaning them to make resell worth while. Thonet chairs can be cool and I have owned several but they are just not money getters if that is what you were hoping for.
If you check ebays completed listings for thonet chairs none have sold for over $250 in a month
Also 1stdibs pricing is usually highly inaccurate. A safe assumption is take their price and divide it by 2 to get a price closer to actual retail value. So your looking at 337.50 per chair which I feel might be closer to the ballpark.
so 675-250= $435 potential profit if you managed to actually find buyers at that price and you might sit on them for months doing so.
If you like them for your self I would get them.
