Textile Arts  

I'd like to start a thread to post fabric and textile pieces and hope you'll share your finds.
And to start it off, here's a piece, that was perhaps designed to be a door knocker, since there's a bell at the end. I love the helix design which makes it so sculptural. I need to find a place for it, maybe under the mantle, or in our vestibule.
This one seems skillfully crafted unlike a lot of other 70s macrame and diy crafts so common in that period.
Found at an estate sale for a few bucks.
