Thanks for posting these,...
Thanks for posting these, SDR. I only had time so far to look at a couple, but 17 was pretty impressive. It's always fun to see such examples, especially from places you don't readily expect. Hook 'em horns.

That link
was posted at Lotta Living. The predominant interest there is midcentury modern architecture -- and its preservation.
Most of these houses are said to be in the Dallas area. I like all the cool stone and ceramic floors.

That particular site has been...
That particular site has been in my Favorites list for some time now, and is a real favorite of mine. What I enjoy there most are the numerous photos of MCM homes, the threads regarding restoration/preservation projects, and the considerations of various material options.
I wish I were better at linking photos, SDR, as it would come in handy in some of the headier discussions found on this forum. For example, in the recent discussion on the term postmodernism, I found myself wanting, as a way of synthesis - and to possibly point out how certain objects/designs have a way of both defining and defying particular Movement terminologies - to post photos of, say, a Gustav Stickley morris chair, Rietveld's red and blue chair...

If a picture is worth a thousand words, Mr Wilson could save a lot of typing by posting a few photos ! Five years ago I was a complete neophyte in the world of computers and the Internet. With a 2 MP digital camera and a home-office scanner, Apple iPhoto and ATT Yahoo Small Business Web Hosting ($10/mo), I have figured out how to get photos from books and other sources onto the 'Net. It takes a few steps, which are now second nature to me. . .

Of course, linking to photos is far simpler; just place the URL of a photo or site you find on the 'Net -- or your own online photo site -- in the "associated web link" box here.

nothing greater than Oneal ford he designed so many great mid century modern homes in Dallas, with several other great design architects to numerous to name,
since Dallas is my second home and 3.5 hours away we go to Dallas a lot and the homes all over the city are so cool, mostly in the North Dallas area around Inwood,
