Was doing some research, trying to find a bricks and mortar location for ebay seller dosbananos (they always have a really nice selection of items- see link for current wares)

Instead of a store, I seem to have discovered that the seller is closely connected to Quran burning, madman pastor
Terry Jones (and his family) of the Dove World Outreach Center. I think its his son running the show?

Anyone ever heard of this connection before?

Thankfully, I've never purchased from the Seller in question, but it makes we wonder what "causes" my ebay purchases have supported in the past....kind of frightening.

Ive bought quite a few items ...
Ive bought quite a few items from them before the burning scenario when they were known as TS and company. I have to say in their defence that the people who run it and who you deal with could not be nicer or more professional.

I never heard of the link to dosbananos before but they were called TSandCompany and artcollector-usa. The current pieces on dosbananos is neither their photographic style or their listing style but they are based in Florida.

That is full on creepy!
Those people are SO hate-filled! Weird somehow I never associated the two concepts of modernist design love and zealous bigotry as compatible ideals. I'm grateful I've never bought from them!

Well, I know who I'll never...
Well, I know who I'll never be purchasing from. The whole thing is just so bizarre... That said, I'm glad to be the wiser and to know that the people on this forum have been informed about dosbananos. Luke and his parents/family/church are entitled to their opinions, no doubt....I just vehemently disagree with nearly everything that they stand for.

Fascinating revelation...and excellent investigative reporting. The morality of something like this is tricky. I say this because everything we buy has some type of moral entanglement...a kind of 6 degrees of separation to something objectionable.

Hrrmmm
I'm torn.
On the one hand, we here at DA are often guilty of judging things. Especially inanimate things.
On the other hand the things we deem distasteful are simply mocked (horrible upholstery) parodied (Gianna Sacchi di Frutta) or relentlessly promoted (what is YOUR Mahogany ID number?)
We never have actually stooped to 'killing' an ugly chair by firing squad. Yet.
