Just drove 2 hours south for the 6 Møller chairs and this table. Never seen those legs before.
No markings. Anybody recognize it?

I really am dense.
I just...
I really am dense.
I just realized this isn't a table. It is a drop leaf desk. Missing the drop leaf. And probably missing the drawers that would hang on the right.
The top slides, and it has channels cut in the rails for the passage of the hinges.
Underneath the table there are two felted stretchers, which I had assumed stored a missing leaf, but must be mounts for the missing drawers. (Not sure I fully understand how that works, but if the leaf hangs on the side, it can store underneath).
Oh, and the top is only 34 inches deep, which is shallow for a dining table, but right for a desk.
Probably nobody recognizes it as a desk, either, but...

Finally identified this: Illum Wikkelsø for Dammand and Rasmussen. There is a cabinet on the Danish Furniture Index with the same unique legs:

And here is a specimen that has not lost its drop leaf:

Incidentally that is the only other one I can find on the entire Internet. There are probably more, but since they are unmarked and very obscure....

I know I'm probably completely wrong(I'm a novice, don't judge me too harshly!) but this gorgeous piece reminded me of a coffee table I saw recently. I know it's probably a cheaper, completely generic 60's coffee table but I wanted to share, it's how I learn!
