Picked up this teak sofa in excellent condition but have no idea who designed it. Has some similarities to grete jalk's sofa by France and sons but some features that do not quite match. Have looked around the web and other sources but no luck.Tks

Hi, might be Scandart, a British firm, but not sure. Have seen the same at my local auction with two matching lounge chairs and the dealers thougt it was Scandart. Hope this helps.

Simon thanks for the reply, did a search but I don't think it is a British made sofa, I am 95% sure it's danish given the lines and construction...

Hans Andersen made a chair that has a similar rounded back support like yours, though I'm sure there may have been a few who did.

Tks skipjo, looked at some of Andersen's work and found some similarities but I don't think it's quite a match, Dean will gave a look at what you suggested. I also like to know more about the pieces that I acquire and who knows maybe it maybe a valuable piece..although I doubt it
