Does anyone have any advice on removing the teak paws on the arms of upholstered danish chairs. I have a chair similar to the papa bear chair with teak accent paws on the arms that I want to remove to lightly sand and oil before I have it reupholstered. Any advice would be extremely helpful.

Thank you in advance!

Try prying them.
Put a couple layers of masking or electrical tape over the business end of a stiff 1" wide putty knife, work it under the wooden part, and gently lever it up working evenly around all sides as you go. It should come. These are usually dowelled in place but not glued.
