We have a couple pair of salad servers
These, which are Danish, rosewood, and similar to the Stelton. However, they are probably too flat.
We have a teak pair I'll have to photograph which might be closer to those in the picture.

The shape looks right as does the contrast of the black against the wood.
Leif, despite its size and it intended use, I don't think I could bring myself to fill your bowl with salad. I'd be afraid to put anything inside it that could possibly stain the interior.
