I don't recognise the design, but the construction looks like Merrow Associates, are you in the UK?

Merrow's a good guess - alternatively William Plunkett perhaps, as he liked flat steel as well (tho not a design I've seen before.) Howard Miller (who/whom I know nothing about other than having seen their labels on some pieces in a similar idiom) also worth bearing in mind

Paul could be right with any of those three guesses - typical style of all three. HK/Howard Keith furniture also produced similar sort of styles I think. Dreipunkt international was/is another company who likes to use flat steel.

Yes
I agree with Paul too, and Nick
Could even be Pieff ??
Do you have a close up of the fixing to the bar ?
Merrow and Howard Miller fixings differ

I thought of Pieff too Robert but their designs were mainly tubular. Reminds me of Fabricius/Kastholm slightly.

Love that little
bias-cut detail at the end of the cantilever legs.

some details
Not sur if this helps. I actually have three and the one in not so good condition I took apart for reupholstering. There is green molded foam which adheres to the frame, the frame is solid wood on the cross and the side frame is of a lighter slightly softer wood. The rods going through the chair are hollow heavy metal. The chrome (steel) cantilever legs are very heavy and well made.

I
I would say, seeing those pics, it isn't Merrow- The hex bolts look wrong, and I think the end of the ski leg would be squared
I also can't help feeling the seat pad would be al lone, the sectioned seat pad looks more European now I look at it .
I wonder if Nick was nearer with Dreipunkt?
