I have an Eames DCM that has a broken glide. I have replacements, but I'm not sure how to get the old broken glide off. Any ever take these off?

Get out your drill
If it has the nylon glide and a tubular frame, take a drill bit smaller than the hole in the leg to it. The portion of the glide that goes into the leg will easily dislodge if you drill out most of it. Then you can tap in the new glide. Usually, when you drill it, the heat generated from the drill bit will melt the remaining portion of nylon a little and it will stick to the drill bit. It will come out when you retract the bit, and once cool, you can peal it off. If not, the remaining portion is easily pushed up into the leg where it will not interfere with the new glide.
