I purchased this teak table with two butterfly leaves the other day it is ALMOST the same design by Niel Moller except the legs are L-shaped angles in solid teak and the expanding sliders are in Aluminum. This does not have the sticker that is usually attached underneath (I assume if there was one it has fallen off because of its age) . Niel Moller has designed the same for Diethelm Scanstyle..Anyone have ever seen this table before and is it from 1960's? Your feedback is very much appreciated..

I would be willing to believe this was made by Diethelm Scanstyle, but I am not so willing to believe that N.O. Møller designed it. There is no evidence I know of that he did freelance design work for other companies. And it is not very plausible that he did; he was not a "furniture architect."
Also, I would guess the table is later. Not all of these have aluminum rails by the way. I've seen one with wooden rails.
Funny coincidence. Before seeing this thread this morning, I'm not sure if I ever saw this table before (or if I did, it went in one eye and out the other). However, upon doing a quick CL check at lunchtime, I see an ad for this same table design, except with wooden rails like leif noted above. I think it has a Dania retailer sticker.
Asking price: $125. I'm taking a pass.
Thank you leif ericson for the detail and insightful information regarding origin of this table. Although I have a limited knowledge regarding MC Danish, I concur with you as this being Diethelm Scanstyle. As for cdsilva finding in CL the same table, with my search (Google) I could not locate it. It would be a great help for present and future reference to
to provide the link to the posting or at least the area it was posted. My thanks in advance for your reply. BTW, is Dania products made in Taiwan?
