I need to store a large saucer lamp for a few months. Would just sliding it under the bed be okay? Its too big to hang in a closet and I'm worried about it compressing, is everything going to be okay?!?

Unless you have a cat with claws, why not?
Slipped into a lightweight plastic bag and under a bed seems like a good idea.
Of course, if the bed itself has a poor foundation and sees a lot of activity, maybe not.

yes / no
The bed is Ikea, so I expect it to fall apart anytime despite its lack of 'exercise'. The cat could be a problem, he has cute little feet that look like jelly beans, but have a license to kill. I will safegaurd the lamp appropriatly.
thanks.

Dr Von Fluffypants
sounds like the male counterpart of Tulip, a lady of my acquaintance. From behind, this longhair looked as if her bloomers had slipped . . . !
